i had a women ask me for childcare but tried to dictate what i could charge. I knew she wasn't happy with the standrad of the nursery her little one is in so i played this to my advantage, sent her an email explaining under no certain terms could i meet the price she was wanting to pay me for the hours she wanted plus meals plus pick ups

got a text this morning asking if we can meet tommorrow night. I attached my ofsted report so she could compare mine with the nursery, mines won flat out lol and i also sent her a link for the vouchers the MOD staff are entitled to. so it worked. fingers crossed she'll turn up and take the space and that will be me filled lol, only have spaces for after schoolers but don't want to really do that as i sometimes look after a little boy twice a week from 6.30 to 10.30 so i need some me time

thanks to the girls who gave me advice i stuck to my guns and that was that, i also have someone queriying about a space as well but it's only for 1 day a week but if the other girl doesn't take up the space then we'll see lol

the more i thought about it the more i thought it was unfair for the lady who just signed contacts for. she'll be paying me about £95 a week but she has 1 day off during the week and she provides food and bottles for her child yet this other lady only wanted to pay about £15 on top of that a week and have full day til 6.30 have dinner and lunch included as well as me pciking up and dropping off the child and i just throught enough is enough

i'm not desperate lol as i have filled a full time place already so anything after that would be a bonus lol

will let you know how i get on tmorrow night
