I include weather conditions, buggys, do we need reins, wrist straps, high vis??

What route do you take? Do you cross roads? Go over bridges?? I walked the route and just decided what could be a hazard eg

walk out front door and we ahve a bank with a drop into a shallow beck :D you then have to walk half a mile to the road on uneven track, new walkers beware :D

Cross road at top of track no pavement only grass verge, slippy in winter.

One way to bus stop the pavement peters out going around the corner onto oncoming traffic, on the route home pavemnet is only wide enought for 2 abreast.....

You get the picture???

It amazing we leave the house isn't it?????

this is mine for walking yu could change it if needed

Outing : Walking
Areas to consider What I have in place already
How far are we going to walk and are the walking children realistically able to walk that far?
What do I need to take?
First Aid Kit
Emergency Contact Numbers
Mobile Phone
Changing Bag etc
Have I suitable equipment?
Buggy/double buggy with harnesses
Reigns
Wrist straps
Is it in good condition?
Have I taught the children about road safety?

i have a particular one-

how to avoid pervy old man who stands on the corner of the nursery.

Cross the road in plenty of time
Avoid all eye contact
Never speak or smile in his direction
hold children tightly
Pray he's got his flies done up:laughing:
