Hi, i just wondered if anybody could help me please as i really do need to ring ofsted on friday so they can come and inspect me next week. I am looking for a premises and security policy which i can adjust for my own setting please? I would be so grateful if anybody could help.

I don't have one myself but there are tons of policies on the Bromley childminders association website and one may be just what you need.

I have one that talks about how I make sure children can't get out and undesirables can't get in.

It's linked to my visitors policy which says I will check them all ... try to arrange workmen in non minding hours etc.

Hth :D

So do you need a seperate one of these?

Ive got a visitors one and handing over responsibility with maybe a couple others, is this enough or should i do a premisses and security one too?

Sorry to pinch thread:blush:

Oh no i dont have one of those! In my safety policy i mention the security catches on exterior doors and locks on windows and that my keys are kept in same place etc. I didnt realise i had to have one just for all that
