ive just started a new contract with 2 brothers who are 5 & 2, I only have them for 3hrs a week after school (suits me as i only work part time, fits in with my hours and they live round the corner & extra pennies help).

Ive not much experience with boys especially 5yr olds, ive got some cars, action figures and lego, colouring stuff, playdoh. But was wondering what other things boys of 5 enjoy, especially activities.

depends on the child, have a chat to the parents about his interests ans take it from there, at that age they're often quite tired after school

They are normally tiered after school and just want to veg out in front of tv or dvd. Lego or cars, train set are all fine aswell.

the boys i have love lego, cars, car mat and garage, wooden train track, and knights castle, but to be honest they do play with other stuff too, like my play kitchen, the till, the big wooden dolls house i have, they do join in the crafts etc but i find that they are not as interested as the girls

good luck :-)
