I can sympathise with you because i need to let ofsted know i have minded children after being on maternity leave so i can have an inspection and im petrified lol you wouldnt think someone could be so scared about ofsted. It makes me feel physically sick :eek: Good luck im sure you will be fine :)

It's ok, don't panic. The pre-reg inspection is quite laid back - so don't feel too much under pressure about it. You will be fine:thumbsup:
Pinklady, can I be nosey and ask what she wants to see? I am waiting for my call but want to be prepared!

Do you have a copy of the Ofsted preparing for your registration visit booklet?
That's what she said we would be going through and said I could fill it out in advance and refer to it during the visit. She also said that all safety items didn't need to be in place as long as I showed what I intended to do and what was needed for safety.
I also need my marriage certificate, passport and another letter like a card statement to prove my indentity and check the crb form.

I never got any leaflets or anything so could not prepare at all. Feel really upset now. Bet they won't accept me :( All we were given at the ICP was "preparing for GRADED inspections" which is nothing to do with the pre-reg.
I'm feeling really let down by my local authority.

You can only work with what you've got...I'm sure you'll be fine anyway. This website is a God send!!
