Where do you all get yours from? I have an HP Photosmart printer if that makes a difference.

I usually just get Tesco's own brand that fits the same printer. They are so much cheaper. I think they make them for all types of printers. Mine's just run out too:( x

I refill mine with a kit, using syringes. I can usually reuse cartridges about 10 times before I have to buy new ones (I have a HP psc1210 printer/scanner/copier). When I do buy new ones I have found that choice stationery (http://www.choicestationery.co.uk/?gclid=CNOtlrv-25YCFQuY1Qod8k6L2w) are often the cheapest.
I once read that printer ink is one of the most expensive liquids we buy. It is when you think a HP black cartridge costs around £20 and holds 20ml of ink....so that is £1000 per litre........makes petrol look cheap!!!!

can't believe this has just been posted.... i have just had to order more 'epson' cartridges, as my epson printer has refused the 'compatible' ones. I have bought 8 compatible ones in the last 2 weeks, all of which had to be thrown away as the printer rejected them. So just bought second lot of epson originals at £25. That means i think i have spent about £70 in the last month on ink cartridges!!! Surely there is a cheaper way??? Any Epson techy's out there with an answer i would really appreciate it.

I always get mine refilled in a local shop, they charged £14 for coloured and about £11 for black.

I don't know if that's any cheaper than buying new one's.

I have had 3 epson machines and they all accept the cartridges. Try www.box-shirt.co.uk as they are cheap (£1.99 for black for mine and £4.99 for 1 colour and 1 black). They also will refund if you find it is no good.

I've got an Epsom R220 and the light cyan cartridge just won't load the ink and its full of it! Don't want to have to pay £15 for another one! Why can't the stupid machine just print in black and white?:censored:
