hello!

i remember reading a thread on here a few weeks back, that had links to pages where you could print out the EYFS devlopment guidelines for the 6 areas of learning? (rather than type them all out!) pleae can someone point me in the right direction! thanks.

i have a 2 yr old mindee leaving me in a couple of weeks, to go to another minder ( i was only meant to have her for the last school year, but mum said she loves coming, please could she stay till my new child starts? (in jan) i said yes, then mum finds new minder who says child has to start asap ... ie after my 6 weeks notice! ) i hadn't really thought before about how to document where each child is when/if they move on! i thought if i had a copy of the development guidelines i could highlight where she is in each area, so her new minder can provide her with what she needs.

or does anyone have any better way of doing it? i'm going to send her development/observation book with her, but not sure mum will take it to the new minder!

thanks

Sorry I typed all mine out!

I would maybe forward the learning journey, I was helping out int he pre-school and they used to forward it to the school as children moved up as parents tended to put it away:rolleyes:
