Ive only been working since late August and I have just had a letter telling me that they are sending out a tax returns form!?

I thought I wasnt to get one till near april> How am I going to be able to work out what I should be taxed if they send it to my now??Aprils ages away!!:panic:

Are you sure they mean now?

You would usually get a tax return for April 2007 / April 2008 in April 2008... then for April 2008 / April 2009 in April 2009.

So unless there's a problem with your income up until April this year, they've no need to send you one.

They might just be being keen though... so wait and see if anything comes in the post.

You should not have to complete any details for this tax year... April 2008 to April 2009 ... because the year isn't finished... so don't panic! :D

Glad I saw this, Ive just recieved a national insurance contributions account letter, saying I owe 52.90, I registered my self, self employed, on line, at the end of august and this is all Ive recieved from them?? no other letters etc Im gonna have to call them monday coz I've not got a clue:(
