I am going to use the Woodlands junior school calendar 4my long term plannin but have noticed how many different events there is for each month!! Do i add all of them? If not how do i pick which ones to add in?? :panic: :( !

I just make sure I have a mix... there are way too many to do them all!
First think about what the children in your setting will be celebrating at home...
Then think about your local area and posters you might see or decorations that might be about - like Hanukkah candles in windows in December or Eid cards in local shops.
Then aim for a mix of fun ones - Australia day is a great excuse for a winter barbie, Chinese new year is good for dragon and lantern making and eating noodles... that sort of thing.
