can you have an assistant on a self employed basis i.e they are responsible for their own tax and N.I ???
i have got a child that i have been asked to mind but as i have a couple of floaters it means that one week i will be over my numbers on a tues for 3hrs and the next week on a fri for 3 hrs, my friend has said she would like to be my assistant and she knows the children too,
also i thought this would help when i start co-minding with another childminder
what are the rules regarding an assistant - re pay, holiday etc would i need to do her a contract (didnt want anything too formal)
