tax allowance

Hi i'm not sure if this has been posted resently,

I have just phone the tax office and have been told this years allowance

before you are taxed is £6035.00

and you dont have to keep recipts for items etc... costing under £10.00

but they like you too.

yes it was put up because they got rid of the 10% tax band.

Always good to remind people...

This year we will be taxed at 20% on everything we earn over the £6035 figure.

Now's the time of year when, if you work full time, you need to be thinking about putting money away every month.

20p in every pound in a savings account somewhere is really good business sense :D
