Older People's Day - 1 October

Older People's Day takes place on 1 October and will be a celebration of older people. This year the theme is intergenerational activity - bringing old and young people together. It is a great opportunity for schools to start thinking about how they can involve their pupils with the older generations in the local community.

my sons school are celebrating this they have been on bbc news all morning my oldest son was featured in the news story working on allotments with older people etc its a great way for the children and older generation to interact and learn from each other :clapping:
