icp course?

Im hoping to be registered as a childminder in april. Ive been sent a form saying im on the waiting list for my icp course.

I was wondering how long it takes for them to ring me with the dates. I live in stafford, is there anyone else in the area that is waiting still too?

Hi Emma,
I am from Cambridgeshire and we were given our ICP course dates in September after our pre-reg meeting - Our course started in October.
So I only had to wait about 3 or 4 weeks.
I would have thought they could have told you when the courses are, as in my area they do an ICp course every 4 or 5 months. Can you ring and ask?

i know stoke college only do them twice a year so you may have to wait till september now, good luck and keep us posted as to when you go and how you get on with it

Don't you have to take and pass your ICP within 7 months of being registered?

I couldn't attend my course as my hubby's in the army and was going away so did mine by post and it was still fully funded, would you be able to arrange this? I think it's more expensive that way so you have to have a good reason.
