I am unsure what to do!!!! I am still wating for my registration number and start-up pack after having my registration vist in the middle of December. A woman rung me tonight asking if i could look after her 2 children. i explained that i was waitng on my registration certificate and would give Ofsted a ring tomorrow to hurry things along, how long does it normally take for your registration certificate to come through?

I am not too sure how long it takes to get oyur certificate through, have you had all your checks done, etc?
Maybe OFsted might be able to hurry ot up for you and tell oyu how long, approx it will take to get it out to you.

Well done on your first enquiry.

The whole process for me took 12 weeks from the day I sent in all the forms.

Defo ring them & explain that you have a family who is desperate!

They may?? hurry things along.

well rung Ofsted up and they are waiting for crb, rung crb and they said it could take a couple of weeks!!!!

our crb checks took 13 weeks to come back and hubby is a police officer !!!

the whole process took 8 weeks for me

I had my pre-reg-inspection on the 8th October and recieved my certificate on the 9th January. So approx 12+ weeks

It is the police checks that takes the time - once mine and DH's CRB's were back we had the certificate within days!!!

i sent my forms off on 29th oct 07, had my pre reg on 13th nov 07, got my crb check thru yesterday 16th jan 08 and was told my certificate will be here early next week. so from sending them off until next monday when i should get my certificate its been exactly 12 weeks

just got to wait for the ncma stuff now :-(

cant wait for my first mindee :-D

i had my visit in dec and got mine beginging of feb. i had the same prob as u, with the starter pack so i called my early years development worker and she chaced the starter pack up for me, they sent me a cover note for the insurance and the development worker gave me a contract to use till mine came threw, but i did have my cert.
