All about Me!

Hi,

I am currently looking after an 8 month old and i am going to start the all about me topic. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for this age range what i could do? :littleangel:

you could use a mirror. put a sploge of something on the LOs forehead and let them look at themselves in the mirror, watch if they go to the mirror or their own forehead to touch the splodge. if they go to their forehead they have a sense of themselves if they go to the mirror they dont. hope i have explained this well enough

handprint /footprint pictures and poems

We recently did a hand print in clay and then the children painted them and put glitter on them - parents loved it!

help them learn where lips, eyes etc are on them and others,

ask parents if you can have some pictures of family (baby,mum, dad.. as its part of his life)

there is a book you can make on site i got saved but think he to young for that at mo here's the link with about me idea's
