Oooh I'm so excited!!!

Had my first enquiry today.......explained that I am awaiting my registration and would I be able to call her once I have spoken to Ofsted this morning to find out how things are going, which she was happy with.

Well called Ofsted and they sent my cert out Friday, without my ssafa checks as the inspectors are happy for me to start without it.......was soooo happy!!!

Called the mum back, who sounds very nice, she has an 8 month old girl that she needs p/t care for from Feb, then full time from April........she is going to speak to her husband to she if he would like to come round with her one eve this week, if not she will come on her own this afternoon.....lets hope she calls back!!!!

Going now to have amad tidy up and get my printer working overtime!!!!

can i just ask im awaiting my cert but dare to advertise incase it takes to long and keep anyone waiting how did you advertise and have you had your crb done? do you need this to start advertising?

Hi Marlene, I did start advertising in advance but only via my website where I listed that I am taking booking enquiries prior to registration (so as not to mis inform ppl) in my local shop and on the local college intranet. Though to be honest havent had anything from these, which is fine as I'd rather not advertise only to let people down if I cant help coz I not reg in time (if that makes sense?!) as they may not come back in the future.

Though its up to you I suppose, you may get enquiries for children not wanting to start in the summer. I'd just be careful how you word your advertising though.

Now I have my cert on the way, I going to do some leaflet drops etc......

Thanks for all the messages of good luck, I am so glad you peeps are here.

Mum phoned me back this afternoon, and asked if it was ok if they came round 2moz once her hubby finishes work......said that was fine. Looks promising though, as she asked if she would be able to sign contracts and pay deposit on Monday as she doesnt get paid till the w/e.

Will let u all know what happens 2moz eve.
