my partners CRB check has been in stage 4 for 4 weeks now! I thought they complete that stage in under 4 weeks? Mine only took 2.5 weeks for all 5 stages so i'm abit impatient now

every person varys hun, if he has moved lots, had any sort of police records when younger etc,also area you live in (soem area's busier than others) .. all adds to delay... call them and nag .. may help
but i cant see it being much longer hun

it's just sat in a pile with your local police... stage 1,2,3 take about 2 days, as does stage 5. stage 4 is just down to lazyness!

Boyfriend's 16 year old son's CRB was applied for mid June...
found out yesterday it's not even gone to the CRB yet! :panic:

Sorry but mine took 14 weeks, i was ringing, emailing etc on a daily basis from 8weeks. Ofsted and CRB were useless and managed to sort it myself eventually. Unfortunatly CRB wont help you until you reach 8 weeks then they will class you as priorty case.

ok. i supose i should just relax,it will arrive one day, for now i am just enjoying my time alone with my little boy. started my childminding course monday night too,it'l come together, eventually. hehe
