Have recived a letter stating The Early Years Development Childcare Partnership has a small amount of funding available to assist sustainability of childcare throughout my area,

Being really thick here but What is it for?
have any of you recieved one?

It normally means that they have a system where if you have a full time vacancy for more than a certain amount of time they will pay you a grant until you find a mindee. The amount of time vacant and the amount of time payment is for and how much depend on each Local Authority.

I doubt i will be entitled then, i have only been minding a few months and have 6 children on my books

I got something like that thru today, i thought it was a grant to get equipment to help achieve all 6 aspects of eyfs.

I would give them a ring and check it out. My friend gets a small pot of money each year but it has to be spent on something very specific. I am sure she called it this. Sorry not explaining myself very well:panic:

Just gave them a call its for childminders that are in the network to help them pay rent and other costs, at least i know now.
