I must be mad as I don't feel any where near ready, and given that I'm not registered yet, I was expecting to have to be.
I had a call from the other childminder on camp and a little boy she's looking after needs more hours which she can't accomodate so she asked if I wanted them passed onto me, and of course I did as it's eventually going to mean a full time place. :clapping:
Well, the mum is coming tomorrow to see me. I have most things done, but not really polished up yet. I'm thinking of treating this a prelim meeting where she gets to see whether I and her son get on and she's happy with the environment he'll be in, I'll discuss my policies etc but not show her my hard copt until I'm happy with what I've written up, then if they're happy with me, invite them back once I'm regisitered for a more official meeting with all the paperwork and gubbins?
Does that sound like a good idea? Also, any tips for a first timer?
