Actually I'd ring Ofsted before you start paying out for a letter from your GP. See what they say.

EYFS requirement - notify ofsted if you are taking medication that affects your ability to work with children.
Your doctor will more than likely have to confirm that your medication and your condition does not affect your work with children.

Dont worry Sue, its so frustrating when you get given they wrong information isnt it, especially when it affects your personal life like that. They have prescribed them as they help with nerve problems apparently. What a pain in the ****!! Really dont want to start taking them but it is a low dose so i am hoping i wont get any of the crappy side affects!

It's amazing what they give you isn't it. My husband has alzheimer's and he has amitriptilyne and I've got twitchy legs (RLS) and I've been on diazepam, clonazepam and now this Madopar which is for Parkinsons. Quite scary!

Duh, forgot the a.d's I'm on too, fluoextine. Prozac. Ofsted know all about it, I got a letter from my doctor so I'm not hiding anything at all.
