can someone please tell me if your insurance certificate needs to be on display and where it says it does or doesn't

Hi yes i think it defanatly needs to be on display, where all your other bits are , certificate, etc x

It did say this in the original Eyfs ... but not in the May 2008 updates -

Do you have the original link that said you have to display the insurance certificate as I can not find it and am trying to see how it has changed

You'd need someone with a copy of the Eyfs before the changes were made in May...

Oh, hang on...

35 Specific legal requirements, final sentence, the words 'and display' have been deleted. It is sufficient for providers to have public liability insurance. They may choose to display it if they wish.

Thank Sarah my network co-ordinator has told one of my support cm's that she has to display it and I have said she doesn't, just needed the proof
