If I buy things from a car boot sale can I still claim them without a receipt?

Would this be the under £10 thing?

Yes if its under £10 its ok. I always right a little post-it note and put it into my receipt envelope. I do the same for over £10 and put car boot - no receipt.

I do the same for items under £10.00 never thought of doing it for items over that amount but I do ask for a receipt even at car bootsales many will give you one :) Paula

yep it is - if you go over £10, hold some back for the next week or write yourself a receipt
