Today is the first day for a before schooler and i'l be taking her to school, collecting at 12 and dropping off at her pre school. Mum turned up with a bunch of flowers for me to say thank you in advance and hello as I hadnt seen them for a few weeks....how kind of them. Its nice to know parents really do appreciate us and what we do.

How lovely!

One of my parents sent me an email a couple of weeks ago saying how much she appreciated what I do for her child, it was so nice to receive that I smiled all night!

:) Oh That's lovely. At the end of last term one of my Mums bought me a Willow Tree figurine of a woman hugging a child. She said she wanted to showm me how much she appreciated what I did. I was really moved.

Oh how lovely!! I've just given my 4 weeks termination notice with my current childminder-although she's actually getting 7 weeks notice i thought that was only fair as I'd made my mind up as to when I would no longer need her.

now thinking about what I can get her as a thankyou, she has worked wonders with my two and nothing I say, do or buy will ever show how much I want to say thank you!!

One of my 'older' children left last week as she is moving on to middle school and her dad will be home by the time she gets back so she won't need me :crying: (i have looked after her for 8 1/2 years).

Anyway, she came over on monday with her mum to drop of her little brother (who I am stil looking after) and brought me a beautiful necklace and bracelet, together with a card she had written herself to thank me for looking after her! and to remind me that I won't get away with not seeing her because she will be popping over sometimes when mum drops off and pick up little bruv:laughing:

Little gestures like this make it all worth while :)
