Well wednesday was my first day back after over a year off and by 11am we were sitting in A&E at the hospital. The 2 year old ran straight into a door and split his head. Cleaned and dressed the wound managed to keep everyone calm. The wound needed to be glued and i was so worried about the parents reaction, especially as it was my first day.

Mum was great tho. She said he was so accident prone and she felt really sorry for me and guessed i would be worried and upset. She was happy i did the right thing by getting him checked out at the hospital.

The rest of the day went great though and they played quite happily.

Can't beleive i had to fill out an accident book on first day!

I hope it slows him down too. Found myself saying "don't run please" all day long because i so nervous he was going to do it again.

I only had them for one day this week because i only work mon, tues, weds but next week will be fulll steam ahead.

Going to find some groups to take them to in my area, they are very lively! :)

Oh no poor little boy and poor you. I dread anything major happening to any of my mindees. You can't help feeling really bad even though it's not your fault.
