Teddy Bear Day - 9th Sept

I just read in Child Care mag that 9th Sept is Teddy Bear day.

It's got some ideas for activities etc in there about saying thank you to your teddy for being your friend and comforter.

Just thought I'd share this incase anyone wanted to celebrate it with their children or mindees.

Don.t talk to me about teddys dd has one well i wouldnt call it a teddy, its a few bits of fabric now!, she has had him since she was 6mths old it was a army and navy bear, its been sicked on, you name it..........
Everyone knows "ted"!, well tonight ive just spent 20mins walking round looking for him, its b****y school tomorrow i NEED her in bed!, well turns out it was under a book on her desk:angry: , kids xx:D

Hmmn it does sound like it - maybe some of the others will have heard of it.
