advice needed please asap

Hi
ive just had an enquiry for a 9 year old but when i registrered i said i would only be having under 8's (didn't think about having older ones at the time)

do i need to let ofsted know about me having over 8's or is ok as long as when they inspect me i can show that it doesn't effect the under 8's in my care.

Over 8s don't figure in Ofsted's numbers so no, you don't have to tell them.

You will be insured for a maximum number of children as well so that's ok.

The Eyfs states the care of over 8s must not stop you effectively looking after under 8s... :D

this will be first mindee if all goes well so with my dd who's 10.5 months i will be ok. any ideas on what i should charge.

i charge the same for older 1's and younger. do you know what other minders in your area charge

You need to do some research...

Check what the local after school clubs are charging and be competitive.

Ask him what he likes... probably a combination of Tv, computer, something hand held and electronic and football :D
