I look after a friends 5 year old son after school for 2 hours each day and sometimes through the holidays. (which I do charge for)

They've been to Florida for the last two weeks and when they dropped their son off this morning gave me a present.

It was a watch with 9 different Disney straps, what a surprise.

I love watches, it's a joke amongst our friends about how many I have.

I just thought how nice for someone to take time out of their holiday to look for a present for me.

It just shows that not all parents take us for granted.:)

Yes, indeed. What a lovely pressie!

Two of my mindees always bring me a little something when they go on holiday too, plus show me holiday photos, plus my hubby and I have gone to theirs for dinner - so social basis, not professional.

It's wonderful to have a good relationship with one's parents.

Ive just got back from holiday and it was both mine and my daughters birthdy while, mindee's mum bought me a card and box of chocolate and my daughter got a dvd.

Thought that was lovely.
