I received a letter on saturday saying that i am going to be on all three registers. I also read that to be on the voluntary one you need to have level 2 or core skills. - which i dont!!
I phoned Ofsted this morning who have told me that because i am already a registered childminder i am already deemed qualified enough to be on all three and that the level 2 qualification bit is for people who become registered from now on and want to be on the voluntary register, they will have to have level 2 before they can be.
I also asked about our qualification for Early Years reg - we have to have level 2 by 2011.
Hope that makes sense - and of course that the lady on the other end has given me the corrrect info!:laughing: :laughing: :laughing:
