Hi

I'm trying to set up a Display of healthy eating and I am looking for a picture of a plate with different food or meals on it.

I've tried to Google it but can't find anything. Does anybody know of a site I can use?

Any ideas welcomed.

Thanks

Cherry

This is quite a nice one for the plate...

http://www.tmbc.gov.uk/images/Environment/Env_Food/Plate.jpg

It copies and pastes into Word nicely for printing...

Hope it helps! :D

Hi

Ages ago I did this 'competition' with Angel to see what freebies we could get and I got LOADS from

the school fruit and vegetable scheme

including this massive, massive book about healthy eating called 'Grub' this caterpillar eating healthily and turning into a butterfly.

Can't remember where I went on the net to get it but maybe if you put the above in the search engine it will come up? It's well worth looking.

you could make your own plate

use a paper plate and ask the children to paint draw on it

then you can display their own work

Hi Kate

If I remember rightly (it was quite a few months ago!) I think I e-mailed them a query - basically introducing myself and asking if they could send me anything to help with healthy eating information for children as I feel this is a very important topic for children for today and their future, bla, bla, bla and then they sent me the whole pack!
