 Having looked at the message boards I am now panicking! Is it worth it? We are required to be little mini schools but can fall foul to unreasonable parents without the back up of a school environment. We seem to be required to have everything in place without the resources, linking the EYFS to everyday childminding for parents who think we are "only childmininders" It seems very one sided. :(. Is this just new job worries?

Once you get into the swing of things, it's actually fun!

If you can do the bulk of your paperwork when the children are happily playing, then even better.

Don't forget we're all here for support and advice too :D

thank you! At the childminding seminar the preparation seemed overwhelming, I have done a bulk of the work but I keep finding something else to do! Now its drawing up contracts and pricing. I now realize that a good sense of humour is essential :jump for joy:

Heaps of advice in the forum but just keep things simple

Have a look at the Bromley website for ideas
