I do - but there is no room for any minding stuff:laughing:

Top drawer is DH and is a mess cos he just dumps, doesn't sort
next is Ebay drawer - no files just dumped again
then theres mine neatly filed but I must get some headings on the folders
Then there is all the computer stuff, instruction manuals for everthing in the house and the straps for the car seats in the bottom drawer:p

I need to buy another one for minding. ( I used to use a box file and just put everything in it - One for each year)

Seroiusly though:-

I would probably be a file per child as you may have some for many many years if you are lucky:)

Letters incoming
Letters outgoing
Useful info (any leaflets etc that you come across)
Places to go leaflets
current receipts - so you know where they all are?
Copies of forms in case computer dies

each child has a folder of their own (each a diff colour)

Copies of forms in case computer dies, thats a good one!

I don't have separate folders for my mindees. I have one file with their contract on one side and information sheet on the other placed in a clear sleeve.

All old or expired contracts are in one separate file.

Insurances, Ofsted Certificate and references in another.

Tax details, expenses and income in another which is replaced each year and this one goes in the roof.
