Had my home visit

Hi,

I had my home visit, the inspector was lovely she was here for 3 1/2 hours!! All went really well she didn't have any recommendations for me, so all being well and she writes up my report in time it should go to the panel on the 8th Sept.
I have got a mindee wanting to start on the 15th so very excited!!

Well done for getting through the pre-reg! :D

CRBs can take quite a long time... you didn't say if yours has gone off yet, but just a note of caution if you have someone booked in with a definite start date.

Sorry I haven't put that I'm in wales so CRB's had to be done before I could have my visit. So I should be told on the 9th if I am registered!

It has been a long process, but I have been chasing them every step of the way:laughing:

hi iv just read ur thread,well done!! i realy need some advice and i think u mite be able to help,im new to this site and havnt a clue what im doing! right my question is how and who do i phone etc to applie for becoming a childminder,me amd my husband are both quilfield nvq level 2 and 3 and been working at his mums nursery for years now and realy want to do this our selfs! we live in a 3 bedroom house and the moragage is sky high!im realy starting to hate workingfor my MOTHER IN LAW SO thought to my self why not do this!so if you could pleaese give me some advice on what i should be doing i would be soooooo greatfull!thanks from sarah.x
