Still waiting

Well I am still waiting to hear back from the lady that came over a week ago, I sent her a text saying "if she wants me to mind her son, she will need to sign a contract & start his settling sesssions next week as I am away the following week.", I had no reply so the following day I phoned but go no answer so left an message on her phone to call me back. Well I got a text from the lady to say that she is looking at all the options & will get back to me this week. I texted back that could she let me know before Thursday as I am going away Friday Morning. I'm not holding my breath though as I just get the feeling that she will go else where.

I really need this contract other wise I will have to find another job till I get another contract signed for full time. I do know that the nurseries around here are more expensive, so will ahve to wait and see.

Yes, me too, it's horrible when you depend on getting a contract signed. the Dad of my mindees said the boy will go to nursery when he's 3 in January and they live a few miles away so I hope when the time comes, I'll have something lined up but it doesn't always work out does it. I hate it when parents don't let you know for ages!

I have said I need to know by thursday this week as I am going away. She is leaving a bit late if she is to start work in Sept. :eeeek:

Well got a message on answer machine on Thursday to say that she was going else where for child care for her son am really gutted as I really need a full timer. I have had loads of calls for school children but at a differnet school that I collect from.
