Just come off the phone to Ofsted, my daughter turned 16 in July so they sent me a CM2 form and enhanced CRB form for her to fill in. Today another CRB form arrives asking her to fill it in. Phoned Ofsted to say she has already filled it in the guy checks and there is no record of it can I do it again.

I tells him I want to know what has happened to a form sent to their office with my daughters personal details on it. He says it would have been destroyed, I ask why destroy a form and then send out another, his reason becaused it wasnt need yet.

I then tell him I wanted to know 100% if it was destroyed, if not I wanted to know where a form containing a 16 year old childs personal details including NI number and passport number was, I said I wasnt happy and what would he say if he came to my house and I couldnt produce a childs form and had no idea where it was.

Put on hold for about 10 mins, came back, form was found it had been sent out and system not updated just destroy new form.

Wasnt too worried, just wanted to make a point, think I achieved it. lol

Well done you:clapping: You had a very valid point about your daughters personal details floating around and they seem to find this acceptable. AS you point out we would have the wrath of Offy upon us if we lost a childs records:angry:
