I'm just wondering what safeguarding training everyone does?

I used to do face to face training, but that stopped a while back. I've done various online ones, and my local safeguarding children board. It appears that all I NEED to have is the basic safeguarding training, but is that correct?

LAs can apply their own requirements, i think. You also need to keep yourself up to date with safeguarding changes etc. and that's good to document to show how you refresh your knowledge.

LA confirmed that I just need basic training, but I do more/others and keep up to date anyway. X

When I had my inspection a few months ago I was told that the basic one is ok unless we have assistants - then we need the next level.
