Where is everyone?

Was thinking ( I know not a good idea ☹️) that this used to be such a active site.Didn't matter what time of the day you visited it someone was sharing information, asking for help, sharing craft ideas.Now there is hardly anyone on here! Where has everyone gone? I know there is a big decline in childminders but come on people, it’s a great forum ( albeit a quiet one at the moment) come back make it a busy lively one again.😀

I do check in here every day, but it is often very quiet. I miss the days when there was always something going on.

I think a lot of people now use the Facebook page, but it’s not the same. I read the page but seldom post on it. I’d love to see this forum go back to how it used to be.

I love the forum more than fb. I think its so much more friendly. I do try and check in most days but life is so hectic some days. Maybe all the active members need to post more :thumbsup:

It definitely is a lot quieter now, like others have said I think a lot of people have moved over to Facebook personally I didn't like the facebook group so came away from it. Everyone is always a lot friendlier on here.


On a different note we have found out that our future little puppy was born at the weekend so it has now become very real and I am having a mini melt down thinking am I crazy ? We have had a dog before but I didn't childmind when she was a puppy, all those crazy puppy memories have come flooding back :panic:

I'm going to start a 'good morning' thread each day and see how that goes. Even if people only have time to log in and say hello, it'll be a good start!

Ooh puppies are such hard work ...sorry! Thinking back to past and present dog all got as puppies.

A good morning thread would be very good 👍 .if people have time for face book it would be nice if they could pop on here as well ? We don’t all do Facebook but would enjoy having them on this forum.Any new childminders it would be good to hear from them also.

I agree cosier here. Fb is very instant but not cosy

I check in to the forum most days and I don't do facebook! ( well, i have a childminding page, but that is linked to DHs account! )

A friend is a member of Facebook page and says it moves too fast! I suggested she came here... but I don't think she has!
