Had a lovely experience today and thought I would share.
I have just arrived in Calgary for three weeks and am staying in an Airbnb on the outskirts. We went for a wander round a local lake on arrival and discovered two lovely ladies with their children. I asked them how to get to the railway station and we got talking, it turns out they are Childcarers. One had a book of coupons to get into Alberta attractions - pay for one and other gets in free and she arranged to meet us today on her regular walk around the lake area with her mindees and gave us the coupon book. How lovely was that!
I picked up a bunch of flowers for her in thanks.
Just shows how thoughtful childminders are all over the world, what a lovely bunch of people you all are!
