Has anybody gone from a childminder to become a Nannie. If so what do you have to have and do to do this

If you go to the Pacey website, Working With Children section- there is a guide to becoming a nanny.

I think you can tell Ofsted that you are changing to a Registered Nanny instead of a childminder, I'm not sure what happens about liability insurance - maybe it depends on whether you stay self employed or become employed by the family. If you are employed they have to pay you sick pay, holiday pay and pension and they probably set the amount they are prepared to pay you. If you find out any further information, can you post it on here as it is something I have considered.

You don't have to be registered with Ofsted to be a nanny.
