Obs and assesment

A few months back i has a letter from local authority saying that govermant were gonna produce a booklet / form thing for eyfs obs and assesment as a kind of framework for everyone. So everyone is working to the same thing. Anyone heard anything else yet ?

Haven't heard about that. I use my own paperwork and it works for me.

The word from Ofsted is they are not going to tell us what to do... we have to do it ourselves.

Nope definatley from Ofsted / goverment . And have been told this by more than one person , typically i cant find the letter tho ! Ah well . Sure it said it was due out in aug so that will prob be sept lol

I don't think Ofsted know what they want yet let alone produce paperwork and distribute it as well... Maybe I am fical but it would take about a year to draw it up, consult on it, change it a few times and then when printed it would be outdated!!
