I'm worried that i dont know how my children/mindees learn. I know what we are working on (learning to walk, self care skills etc) and what their next steps are, i know some are independent and some like being outdoors but Im not sure I would be confident enough to say how they learn? Can anyone help me?! What kind of things should i be looking for?

Have you checked out COEL?

I feel the statements in COEL help me to understand children's way of learning that bit better
Try here: Characteristics of Effective Learning: play and exploration in action (http://eyfs.info/articles/_/teaching-and-learning/characteristics-of-effective-learning-play-and-r160)
