Hi,

I have a mum wanting a school drop off and pick up three days a week. two days will be fine but on one of the days i have 3 full timers. So he is 4 and id be over my ratios wouldnt i. Was just wondering once he turns 5 in april will I no longer be over or do I need to wait until he turns 6?

If he is in fulltime education then he will count in your under 8's ratio. So you can have 3 Early Years and 3 school children under 8 if space allows

As said above- but it child needs to be in full-time Reception year at school (not preschool/nursery etc which some families still call 'school' confusingly). Then they no longer count in your 3 EYFS.
