we have a 7 yr old cat. It's actually my dd2's but she can't have 2 cats in her flat so I'm keeping him here with me. We have installed a cat flap for him now. He is cautiously using it at the moment but I'm not sure if the flap should be inside or out as it has been fitted through a brick wall. Anybody any ideas or advice how to get him to use it?

Not a cat person myself, but I remember that my mums cat flap flapped both ways ! It could be jiggled so that the cat could only come in, or only go out, or locked shut altogether or could flap both ways for normal day to day.

( please don't snigger at my mothers cat flap flapping both ways - cos it sounds a but like something from the inbetweeners!)

Thanks for that. We did all the flap sniggering whilst it was being put in!!!
