Oh well, the time has arrived... DS turns 16 this month, and I have to do the new DBS check and update service for him :(
DD was done under the old system a few years ago now, so this is all new, and I've seen some proper horror stories

I'm going to give it a week to receive the letter from ofsted, which I'm still waiting for for DD btw lol but, thought it'd be a good idea to get a heads up from you lovely lot

We've got his NI number, a bank account in his name for over a year, and a valid passport - anything else needed as proof of ID?

He needs a DBS, update subscription, and an EY2 form, I believe that's all, but any idea what order I have to do it in?

Eurgh, I am so not looking forward to this, wish me luck lol

My advice is here but it sounds like you are organised! DBS Checks (http://www.childmindinghelp.co.uk/freeresources/Free%20downloads/dbschecks.html)

I did one recently and it wasn't that bad :D
