Ratios ....

I currently have:

H aged 8 (9 in November)
M aged 6
Son 4/5 (rising 5)
Daughter 2
I 1

I have been asked to pick 2 kids up from the same school that they all go to on Mon & Thurs only, which will clash with H & M for 1 hour only on Mondays. The new kids would be;

E aged 9
O aged 6

Is this something I have to ask Ofsted about?? It seems a shame as the moment H turns 9 at the beginning of November then she is above the ratios. Also, H & M get picked up at 4pm so it is literally for 1 hour that they will clash.

On the one hand I know the answer, but I thought I'd ask for advice anyway :)

is the child is 8 they r not included in the ratios

what does your reg certificate say about your ratios.

By the looks if it you won't be over your numbers at all

Oh really?!?!?! What an idiot - so it's 8 & above who are not in the ratios, think I thought 5-8 meant they're in the ratios until they're 9 (if you see what I mean?)

God, so confusing, but at least I'm on the straight & narrow (hopefully!) :blush:
