Does anyone use one of these and if so for what ages? I need something where I can keep baby in one place if I need to pop to the Loo! What dyou all do?

I used to use one and loved it. I never used to keep the babies in there for very long though as I think they can get tired and it does restrict movement a little bit. I used to put a little bit of water on the tray and DD would smack her hands in it and explore. They were all the rage when my DD was a baby but I think they are a little bit frowned upon now. My nephew could get out of his apparently.

I just pop mine in the travel cot if I need to go to the loo.

I also liked using one but not safe enough to leave baby unattended in. I used to put mine in high chair.

The current ones have a strap, whereas the older ones didn't. Is this because the company knows that babies can get out of them do you think?

My son had one as a baby and he managed to tip it up - ended up face down on floor with the bumbo still stuck on his bum! He has chunky thighs and was string lol!

I bought one second hand a couple of years ago but it never seemed to do the job for any of the little ones I had and I sold it on again. I'd prefer to keep a little one on the floor on a play mat than put them in something they could fall out of in any way if I'm just popping to the loo. Or i would take them with me if I had bigger ones being bouncy - I'd take the little one.

Thanks everyone, maybe I shouldn't get one...where do you all put babies when you pop to the Loo?! I can't trust my two year old with the babies!

I take the 7 month old with me and put him on the changing mat when my more lively ones are around- or go when he's asleep!
