No, sorry, I don't really bother with these 'World ... Day', some are so random! I follow what the children are interested in and use music in our play everyday. Mine are too young to understand a particular 'event' day anyway. The only one I do make a point of doing is 'World Book Day' because I get the vouchers, they bring in a book and we see the school children dressing up etc.
Are you marking the occasion?

Nope id not heard of it! I thought I may ask and find out it was as popular as world book day but it seems clearly not!! :-)

We love music here and usually link activities to nursery rhyme week in November ... World Nursery Rhyme Week - sponsored by Music Bugs (http://www.musicbugs.co.uk/world-nursery-rhyme-week/)
It's not on my radar for this year but I will definitely look what activity ideas I can glean from it next :D
