Hi,

As a childminder who has after school children only....do I need do courses such as prevent duty, can I just have the information listed under my policies, if I have to do the online course does anyone know if I can do it for free or do I need to do it through MM for a fee? Many Thanks

My LA still provide a lot of free online courses. Contact your ey team and ask.

You can read up about Prevent by yourself- no need for a course.
No one 'needs' to do a Prevent course, it is not a statutory qualification or training. But you need to be aware.
