Is there any compulsory paperwork to complete at this age specifically or is it just the 2 year check?

No, if the child is in full-time school the school will do the Early Years Profile at the end of Reception Year.
If the child is in full-time school you do not need to do learning and development records- just work with the school to support what is happening there.
