I did my Level 3 Childcare and then went onto have my own children. I've since moved house and no childcare around for my eldest I am unable to return to work just yet. I was thinking of putting my qualification to good use (and offer a service obviously not around in the area) and wondered if anyone could offer me some help.
Firstly I have a 3 yo who goes to school nursery for a morning session and a 5mo, how many additional children could I have?
Also what things do I need to look into?

Hi here is a useful guide to getting Ofsted registered. It can take around 6 months to get registered.

You are allowed 6 under 8 year olds of which max 3 can be preschoolers of which max one can be under one.

Generally your own count in your numbers but it is possible with risk assessments and a plan B to take your own child out of your numbers when at preschool but when in your direct care they count.
