Does anyone risk assess for snow or any adverse weather conditions at all? Do you document this and how? Do you all continue business as usual in snow etc?

I do have a winter weather policy which I re-send to all parents around now which amongst other things warns them that if there is too much snow I will not do nursery runs and may pick-up any school children early. With little ones and a double buggy to push as well as 3yr olds walking it may not be possible for me to walk in a lot of snow to school and back 3 times a day :panic: Your post has reminded me that I should send it out this year about now

I inform parents I will not do a school run if the weather us too icy or snowy I have to drive to school so explain I would not risk the children myself and my car

I do have an extreme weather risk assessment and try to carry on as normal. But if the schools are shut I try not to be over loaded with schoolies or lo's. Hopefully, if parents can't get into work, I'll have a shorter day or a day off. But it doesn't always work to my advantage.
